Sign Ordinance Committee
The Sign Ordinance Committee has been put together to guide revisions to the City’s sign ordinance. Most of the sign ordinance has not been revised since 1977. Laws, technology and community desires have changed over time so that an update to the sign ordinance is required. The Committee will hear public input on what the City’s sign ordinance should do and direct staff to make appropriate revisions to the ordinance. The Committee will review the draft and present it to the Planning Commission, Economic Development Board and the Historic Preservation Review Commission. They will ultimately recommend a draft ordinance to the City Council for adoption.

The last Sign Ordinance Committee Meeting was Thursday, January 22, 2015. The minutes for this meeting are available on the Minutes page below. The meeting will be rebroadcast on the City Channel Tuesday 1/27 at 6:30 pm, Wednesday 1/28 at 7:00 pm, and Thursday 1/29 at 8:30 am.
