High School Internships
Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School Corporate Work Study Program- VTA began its partnership with Cristo Rey in 2014. This unique opportunity introduces disadvantaged youth to the professional office environment. One day a week placements include, but are not limited to, Procurement, Contracts & Materials Management, Operations Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, and Human Resources.
Part-time College Internships
College Internship Program- College interns gain meaningful hands-on work experience in the transportation industry focusing on VTA project-driven initiatives. Part-time placement possibilities include, but are not limited to, Graphic Design, Marketing, Transportation Planning, Employee Relations, and Human Resources.

One way VTA is committed to enriching the public sector work experience for young professionals is through its internship programs. In addition to partnering directly with local schools and agencies, VTA also sponsors internships with grant funding. Numerous former student interns have even become full time employees at VTA.
