Department Overview
The duties of the South San Francisco Finance Department are to provide financial services to the departments of the City and to provide fiscal accountability and adequate control over the use of City funds.
The services provided by the Finance Department include maintaining the City's accounting system, auditing bills, managing payroll and purchasing procedures, issuing business licenses, managing parking districts, and collecting occupancy taxes and other City fees.
