Get help with college entrance exams, locate financial aid assistance, and visit homepages of colleges and universities across the country or find information on careers after high school.

College Information

Admissions, Financial Aid, and Testing Information

American College Testing Program:
A student site for ACT test takers.

College Board:
Provides information on programs and services for college admissions, guidance, assessment, financial aid, and enrollment. 

Kaplan Test Prep:
Offers preparation for more than 90 standardized tests, including entrance exams for secondary school, college and graduate school, as well.

Learning Express Library:
A collection of online practice exams, including the SAT and ACT, and other test preparation material. This site is available outside of the Library with a Santa Clara City Library card.

Number2.com:
The first site on the Internet to offer absolutely free test prep tutorials for the SAT, ACT and GRE.

Princeton Review:
Helps students deal with the increasingly competitive and complex process of admissions to colleges.

Tuition Funding Sources:
Tuition Funding Sources or TFS is a private service created in 1987 to help students find scholarships and other forms of financial aid to help pay for a college education.

CampusProgram.com:
Contains university and employment resources that guide you from high school to your dream job.  

CampusTours.com:
Provides many prospective students with a virtual tour of more than 800 colleges and universities.

College Source Online:
A virtual library representing 29,036 college catalogs in full cover-to-cover, original page format for 2 year, 4 year, graduate, professional, and international schools.

Career Assistance and College Alternatives 

AmeriCorps:
A network of national service programs that engage more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment.

Career Key:
A free service to help you with career choices, career planning, job searching, and choosing a college major or training program.

My Future:
A source that helps young adults plan their next steps in life by bringing together the most recently available information about colleges, careers and military service opportunities from the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Defense, Education and Labor.

Next Step Magazine:
A guide that helps high school juniors and seniors explore potential careers, research collegiate options, and make educated decisions about their futures.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook:
A nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives.

Youth @ Work:
