Paperless Printing
Save trees, toner, and money by making a PDF instead of printing. Applications installed on the library PCs allow you to "Print to PDF".
Paper Printing
- Default paper is 8.5 X 11, B/W or color
- For other formats, add your own paper
- You can print up to 11x 17
- Please NO transparencies!
Stanford Affiliates and General Public
You can print from all computers located in the library. Printing is available for Stanford affiliates as well as general public (ask for guess access at the Services desk).
We have 3 printers available: 2 B/W HP laserjet and an HP color laserjet.
SoM Students
For SoM students only, a printer is available in the Li Ka Shing Center 4th Floor.
Printing Cost & Payment
- B/W or color: 10¢ per page, 20¢ double-sided
With SU Cash-to-Card system (Pay2Print)
- Purchase a Cash Card from the vending machine in the library
- The vending machine accepts $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 bills. It does NOT accept coins
- There is a $1 fee for the card
Reimbursement
- We cannot offer cash refunds for poor quality print jobs or photocopies. User Services Desk staff may offer replacements on a case-by-case basis

Printing from Your Laptop
Your laptop must be registered and connected to Stanford network and you need to install the Pharos Popup software first:
The driver for the Li Ka Shing printer has been upgraded. If you're having problems printing, please re-install the driver.
