Visit

The Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign is located near the corner of Campus Drive West and Roth Way. Our office is in the East Wing of the James H. Clark Center, 1st floor, room E100. Enter via the door marked E1.3.

Directions

From Highway 280: Take the Sand Hill Road (East) exit and travel for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right on Santa Cruz Ave. Immediately turn left onto Junipero Serra. At the first signal turn left onto Campus Drive West.

From Highway 101: Take the Embarcadero Road (West) exit and travel for approximately 2.2 miles. Cross El Camino Real (the street becomes Galvez). In approximately .5 miles, turn right onto Campus Drive West.

Visitor Parking

Nearest Parking: The Roth Way parking garage at the corner of Campus Drive West and Roth Way has Visitor parking on the first floor and A parking on all other floors. It is a 2-3 minute walk to Biodesign. However, please be aware that it can be very difficult to find an open space in this location.

2nd Nearest Parking: The Via Ortega parking garage on the corner of Via Ortega and Panama has Visitor, A, and C parking. It is a 5-6 minute walk to Biodesign.

Recommended Parking: The Roble Field parking garage is a NEW option on the corner of Via Ortega and Santa Teresa Street. Enter this underground facility (which sits beneath Roble Field) from Via Ortega. It is an 8-10 minute walk to Biodesign, but this location is most likely to have open spaces. 

Visitor parking costs $1.50 per hour at the pay stations in each garage (cash or credit card). There is a four-hour limit on most visitor spots.

Before 6:00 am and after 4:00 pm, parking is free in all Visitor, A, and C parking spaces.
