At Stanford Children’s Health our passion for providing unparalleled care for kids and pregnant moms goes far beyond our hospital walls. As a not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing extraordinary outcomes for our both our patients and the community. From providing exceptional care to our community’s most vulnerable to training the next generation of doctors and medical professionals, investing in the health of the community imbues the work we do in every community we touch.

In 2016, we invested more than $205 million in Community Benefit services and activities which includes our Medi-Cal shortfall of more than $185 million. We work closely with local nonprofits and community leaders to ensure the continued improvement of the health of our community. We provide education and support for the whole family and together we are building healthier, happy communities.
