Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterization

Dr. Stanton Perry heads the interventional catheterization program and with Dr. Lynn Peng and Dr. Jeffrey Feinstein, they perform a variety of procedures including valvuloplasty, angioplasty, stent placement, and ASD/PFO/VSD/PDA device closure. The laboratory performs about 700 catheterizations per year, of which about 250 are interventional procedures. In this program, new investigational procedures and devices are routinely evaluated in an extensive clinical research program.
