Some services offered at Vaden are not covered by the Campus Health Service Fee. These include travel consultations, some immunizations, physical exams, CAPS long-term therapy, and CAPS medication management.

As a result of legislation under the Affordable Care Act, some routine, preventive immunizations are now covered by insurance plans at no cost share to members. For students with Cardinal Care, the following immunizations are offered through Vaden Health Center at no charge to the student.

Students without Cardinal Care will be charged by Vaden Health Center for all immunizations, other than seasonal influenza. Students may seek reimbursement from their private insurance company, but there is no guarantee of payment. Alternatively, students may go to a provider who is in the private insurance network for the maximum benefit level. See applicable charges below.

Physical therapy
Charges for physical therapy services are typically directed to third party payors (insurance). For students who are covered by Cardinal Care and have a referral from a Vaden provider, a $20 to $30 copayment applies.
