SquirrelsInjured/Orphaned Wildlife

The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley (WCSV) provides care for sick and injured wildlife in Santa Clara County. SVACA partners with the WCSV and transports injured or sick animals directly to them.

If you are holding wildlife that is injured or in need of help please take the animal directly to the WCSV during their business hours if it is safe for you to do so. If it is not safe for you to transport the animal yourself, please call our office and one of our staff will arrange to collect the animal from you.

The WCSV is located at 3027 Penitencia Creek Road in San Jose, CA 95132.

Nuisance Wildlife

Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley has information about problems with rodents, raccoons, skunks, opossums and coyotes. They also provide referrals and information about other organizations and programs that can help with nuisance wildlife.

Coyotes in Our Town? Yes, coyotes have made our area their home. Santa Clara County Vector Control manages wildlife matters and has produced this flyer which describes ways to coexist with coyotes. The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley also has information on how to coexist.
