Collaboration/Service
Collaboration with Medical School researchers is central to the DBDS mission, and our faculty are enthusiastic about possible partnerships. We offer multiple gateways for various needs.
Biomedical Data Science Support
Thanks to support from SPECTRUM, we are able to provide free time-limited consultation to investigators in the medical school. Depending on your needs and the nature of the project, you might meet with one data scientist or your research might be discussed in a Data Studio. As in the workflow chart, this service includes assistance in preparing for the Data Studio session, and one of its outcome might be the identification of one or more faculty interested in continuing to work with the PI.
If you are interested in these services, please contact us by clicking on the box below and filling the form that will pop-up
Drop-in Statistical Consulting
At the last Data Studio session each month, DBDS faculty and staff provide assistance to all members of the Medical School who drop in. No appointment or other arrangements are required ahead of time, and no follow-up is expected. Note that drop-in consulting is scheduled only once a month. If this timeline does not work for you, consider requesting a consultation or feel free to come to any Data Studio session to meet us in person.
Data Coordinating Center
The Data Coordinating Center (DCC) fulfills needs related to managing data of research projects in the School of Medicine.
