Douglas County, Georgia

Google is proud to call Georgia home to one of our data centers.

Google has had a data center presence in the Atlanta region since 2003. Over the years, we've invested hundreds of millions of dollars to build and operate our site in Douglas County. We've created more than 350 jobs on site, and we work hard to support the communities in which our employees live and work.

Since 2011, we've awarded more than $2.7 million to Georgia nonprofits and schools. Our employees are active volunteers in the community. Additionally, we've designed an innovative reuse water system to use recycled water for 100% of our cooling needs.

On this site, you can meet some of our employees and see how we're giving back to the community.

Why did Google choose Douglas County?

Douglas County has the right combination of energy infrastructure, developable land, and available workforce for the data center.
