Firefox stepping it way up. The last mobile Firefox app I tried was slow, and slightly uglier than chrome. It just didn't feel good to use. I download this app, and am welcomed with beautiful UI, and insanely snappy response. Feels great to use. It needs the single handed zoom though. Where you can double tap, and drag to zoom. Other than that... It's freaking good. Give it a shot. You may just have a new default browser.

works great for my needs and a lot more customizable and faster than other preinstalled junk. i would have given 5 stars but I haven't been able to integrate IDM like i have on computer and open dyslexic font doesn't seem to work either. i am only mentioning these 2 thing as a suggestion to developers and just in case someone else uses IDM or Open dyslexic font.

Since upgrading to Android 8.0 last week, Firefox has been a huge battery hog. In one day, it was used in foreground for 52 minutes but consumed 22% of battery. I am going to try chrome since that'll be optimized for Android. But if it doesn't have extensions I may need to go back to Firefox.

Lags a LOT. was ok years ago but has got slower as time past with the newer versions. There are much faster browsers out there which is why FF is no longer my main and I am about to replace it with another as my second browser. Started well, but you destroyed it as you went on. I for one do not want bells and whistles. I just want fast and private.

Having major issues syncing and can't find anyone to help. They fixed the computer version but when I put password in it fails and says error. Password is correct. Then it keeps popping up on my phone to sign in. Awful and if not fixed today or help I am removing all apps of Firefox.
It still wants to be a Chrome clone when it grows up. Limited customizability. Custom homepage now works (finally!) Annoying pop-ups from the BROWSER ITSELF, not from web pages (quit advertising to me, I already use Firefox and am aware of its features, thanks).

Always used Firefox on my PC, but it never seemed as good on android so have been using another browser for years. After giving Firefox another try a short time ago, it seems to be tons better now, not had any problems and seems to be much improved that It's a great browser now. Will keep with it now.
Had to lower my rating to 2 stars from 5 stars. This used to be so good but now it is so slow, takes 20 seconds to open and then going to other sites takes even more time. It's so unfortunate because I was a loyal user. I'll check back in a few months but I don't think anything will change.
Does not crash and burn like Chrome or slow down a phone that has middling specs almost to a halt like Chrome. You would think that Google would do a better job on their own OS but they are worse than their implementation on Windows. Firefox Addons and customization rule the roost also. Only one slight hiccup on one phone in the past decade and even that was quickly resolved in an update.
Firefox is my favorite browser from ages. Everything is awesome plus the extensions are great. Only problem is that its L.A.G.S alot. Whenever I open a new tab or copy a text from a page the response is tooo damn slow. I have less installed apps in my Android and RAM is also 2GB or above free still the same issue persist. Please fix it then I will give you 5 Stars.
I like Firefox but am having a problem with functionality on my new Z Force Droid. Website icons (from bookmarks e.g. Washington Post) disappear when I leave Firefox. This did not happen with my old Droid. I have replicated all setting old to new and cannot find a difference to keep icons from disappearing. Please help.
CHANGE THE TABS BIT BACK!!! This morning, my list of tabs showed two tabs across and it was easy to see at a glance what I had open. Now it's got one massive picture on each line and I can only see one tab at a time! Change it back! It's not fit for purpose like this!
Thank you, love this browser. Please, one feature request: I have 100+ tabs open, please provide an option that restricts tabs using the cpu which are not used. Many times, Firefox is the main thing draining my battery. Thanks guys! Good work!
This browser even support sites that even Chrome can't go to. However, I find it heavy on the battery. Best thing about Firefox is the add-ons. No other browser has as many add-on developers as Firefox. However, Mozilla seems to focus on their mobile browser more such that Firefox on my PC is fundamentally unusable. Hope to see how they solve this. Also hope to see how Firefox can integrate features in Android Oreo such as Picture-in-Picture.
Precisely WHY am I no longer allowed to move this to my SD card? That would have saved loads of space for my phone but of course since that's useful, that got removed so now I can't update anything anymore. And of course Firefox staff refuses to acknowledge this. Absolutely terrible, moving to Opera.
Very frustrating to use in smaller displays. Selection of hyperlinks is very inaccurate compared to Chrome. Another irritation is the lack of instant suggestions from history while typing something on the address. Takes a good 4-5 seconds to appear while Chrome displays instantly
This browser explicitly blocks selecting and copying text. This is an integral function of the computer. It cripples the operation of the net because I cannot copy text and past it into Google to search the subject or translate foreign text. This is a huge critical failure.
Great browser same as on pc, but i have a small complaint, before the version update 55.02 on android you could store the app on an sd card and i had it but now its greyed out, not that firefox occupies that much but still it was more free space for the other apps to work with and not complain as much for the lack of free space, so if you could see if that was a mistake or intended i would appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
Laggy and slow loading pages. Once I installed an add-on, typing was delayed, wait several seconds for pages to load. The home page is cluttered. It's the best browser for PC, but not Android. I'll stick with Chrome for Android...
The thing I dislike about Firefox is that it keeps all the pages I visited on the start page. Every friend or event I browsed on facebook is saved on start page. Well it's a bit annoying and I have to clear history. I'll give you 5 stars if you fix it
Used to be 5 stars but due to recent issues I don't think I can recommend this any more except for people who hate Chrome/WebKit. It has become progressively less stable on multiple devices lately, simply hanging on some and being killed by their bug catcher on others. As much as I dislike Chrome, even Mozilla seems to be giving up on making their browser worth using.
It works OK. However; there's one thing I like and one I don't. I like the fact I can install it on my SD card but it's a big file. When I first installed it, it was 83 megabytes and immediately after that had to install an update that had another 27 megabytes. Too much
This new version has bugs when zooming in and out, the pages get completely white and unusable. Sometimes needed to reopen the tab, one time I really had to terminate the app (only noticed today, but several times already). Will give 5 stars when fixed
The layout of some webpages gets messed up in Firefox. Especially when an input field is surrounded by text. You also have to tap a link several times before anything happens, and whose bright idea was it to make the page refresh a two-tap action? What do you think was wrong with pulling down on a page to refresh it? Neither Opera nor Chrome suffer from these usability issues.
Firefox used to be my main browser for my Android phone but the update on 16th August 2017 has ruined it. For years you could install Firefox to your SD card. My phones storage capacity is almost maxed. Now since the 16th August update, the option to install to the card is gone, the compatibility hasn't been enabled. Also, since the update Firefox keeps freezing. No errors just freezing. I have to physically force stop the app in settings. Nothing on my phone has changed other than the app version. It's definitely the last patch.
Still the best browser. A few strange things are to be remarqued or rather a question: Firefox updated to the latest version as always. It cannot be moved anymore to the SD card on my Huawei Y6 but it still can be moved to the SD card on our older Huawei Y360. Any explanation or solution for this curious behaviour? Thanks in advance. Alex.
Some things load faster than on other browsers, but most of the things load much slower, has addon support thats great. Some things are kinda broken, like playing a video on some pages results in refreshing of that page not playing the video. And why is it that forefox restores tabs that i closed, it should only restore tabs that stayed open
I like using Firefox because it seems to be the only browser for users, not just for spying and showing ads. However it becomes slower and slower. One of the last updates has broken history and I can't delete an item from it. Also I experience long delays after I enter a web address or a search query: it takes Firefox 10 to 20 seconds to start showing something. I miss one feature from desktop version as well: "Forget about this site", it can be handy at times.
I still have tons of issues with the app hanging and then crashing. Things take several minutes to load, or never load at all. this is by far the very worst version, even worse than the prior. Please fix this app, I'm sick of all the crashing and am sick of sending crash reports.
Use to love this program but the last few updates have made basic navigation of the program rather frustrating. Was willing to overlook the problems but at the time of this review the program can no longer go on SD card. Have switched to Dolphin at half the size all on SD and am very happy.
As much as I love Firefox, it really gets slower and slower on mobile. I don't have a low-end phone, but the more I update Firefox, the more it becomes unresponsive and occasionally takes ages to load simple pages (and no, my connection isn't faulty, and my phone is very responsive). I'm thinking of switching to another browser once I find something with what I like in Firefox, because it is really becoming a pain. I hope it gets fixed in the future so I can take it back.
Improved. Rendering speed still has something left to be desired but it seems bookmarking is a tad improved and RAM usage has been decreased. Keep up the good work and keep improving the speed and security. Oh and thumbs up for finally allowing us to rearrange tabs. Maybe make sync easier to access too instead of burying it in history.

Hello Lee Riley. Thank you for the feedback, it is important to us as this helps us move forward and inform our product team of the issues our users face. If you have not already, please check out our support site and get in touch with our community support team, if necessary. mzl.la/1J65fYU Please leave us an updated review if this was helpful.^at Best browser available on Android, but it's horrendously buggy. It took them over a year and a half to fix session store. Displaying images when many pages are open has been buggy for over half a year. Tapping on links -- two years. The app has been getting more stable, but the basics remain hopelessly, stupidly broken.
Best browser on Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac! My only current complaint is that I can't seem to add a page to the home screen, it pulls up a keyboard very briefly, then the app quits to the home screen with nothing new. I'm running Android 8.0 on the Pixel XL with the default Pixel launcher.
Mike, Moto e running 6 I'm trying this browser because unlike Chrome, you can add plugins to Firefox to block those annoying adverts that web sites insist on including, even though everyone hates them. The browser seems to work well and blocks adverts very well making the online experience more pleasant. This works very well, but I replaced it with Armorfly, which is really small, fast and blocks ads etc.
It's been over a year since my last review and Firefox is still incredibly slow and unresponsive. It also crashes a lot when quitting the app. Pretty useless browser outside of the PC. This would be so much better if it wasn't so painfully slow.
Seems to be jamming all the time or crashing now. Cant even start the app back up and lost what I was typing on a forum. Other than this works great. This just started recently the crashes
Slow, bad, unstable, worst Android browser. Opera is less of a joke. Mozilla is quickly going down the trash as they hire SJWs that can't code. This is what diversity does, it destroys.
Every time I am prompted to update this app, I despair. Why? Because with each new update the app gets more lag and less usability. Pages don't even load unless I constantly refresh. What happened Mozilla? This is my most used app and now I am considering deleting it. If the next update doesn't fix the problem, I will delete the app and go elsewhere
Download tab is hidden and not easily accessible, it should be at one click. Also not shows full details like percentage and downloaded size. Also Top notification status bar of download is useless, needs download size
