Some people may think this kind of thing doesn't happen but I will tell you it does. My brother-in-law is now dead and did this same kind of stuff. His wife, my sister, just died in April as she went from pills to heroin. Thank u 4 bringing this into light

Dependence refers to tolerance and the physical symptoms of withdrawl if/when that situation occurs. When one takes an antidepressant, they can’t just stop taking the med, or withdrawal symptoms will present. Like antidepressants and many other meds, pain meds must be tapered.
