It would be very useful to integrate messenger with people bar in desktop, so we can have quick access to chat

We got call feature on 5 minutes?

Today when I launched Messenger I saw there was call feature available and I was so happy. I tried calling my friend and it worked but after I relaunched the app everything was gone! I am so disappointed in this app.

At least please give us chat head or bubble feature!!

Features we need -call and video call -notification on the lock screen -transparent live tile -switching to light and dark theme -less time to launch the app -reply from notification action/chat heads/bubble feature -less time to send photos and videos(even my wifi is fast it works much slowly) We want a bug free messenger app.

App crashes when taking picture with front facing flash

With devices that have a front facing flash, taking a photo in the messenger camera causes the app too freeze, also freezing the front flash on even if you close the app. The front flash will remain on until you open messenger back up again. Devices with front facing flash such as the Alcatel idol 4s.

took a while but I figured out how to exit pictures

Like a few other people on here, I had trouble trying to get out of viewing/zooming in on pictures. I couldn't get out of pictures without closing the app. BUT I did discover the solution if you all are still stuck. Simply swipe the picture away with your finger if you are on a touch-PC or tablet, or double click and drag the picture away quickly with your mouse cursor. I wish there were some instructions somewhere telling me how to do this weeks ago when I first downloaded the app. Other than that issue the app works pretty well.

Low quality

Don't rotate your phone as this app's landscape mode is so broken you have to quit and restart. App launch is very slow (10+ seconds). Notifications are not actionable

It works finally

It's good when it wants to work but please give us the video call function :( please I literally have done it once and that's all with a previous build
