THINGS NEEDED TO BE FIXED/ADDED

•If there's anything that you could do, even just one thing, is this-FIX THE VOLUME PROBLEM. I'm tired of not being able to adjust my volume during a video call. Sometimes it's too loud, even when I try to adjust the volume down, it says it's at the minimum but the loudness doesn't change. Sometimes it's too quiet, so I try to turn it up and when I push the up button for the volume, it shows like I'm turning it up, but nothing actually happens to the loudness. This is really annoying me. Fix it ASAP please.
•Another thing with volume-I'm not sure if this is something you can fix or only Apple can fix, but whenever I video call someone, the volume of everything else gets lowered WAY down. I can't watch any videos that my boyfriend tags me in while we're calling because I can barely even hear anything, and that's only when I'm wearing headphones. It's much worse without them. I'm not sure if you can do anything about this, but I hope you can.
•Something you could consider adding is multiple notification sounds, PLEASE?? I hate when I hear the messenger sound and it ends up being someone else's phone. Maybe a bit more customization too? Like adding a picture to a chat background, or at least setting out some for us to choose from. Or maybe more chat colors would be nice. Things of that nature.

As in the title, this app has a lot of bugs and it lacks many necessary features. I am only using it because it’s it connects me to my Facebook contacts, if it was an independent texting application, i would have never used it. Why when you add someone to a group, they can read every previous message? Why you can’t delete a message that you have sent (deleting it for the other person)? Why going offline (aka turning off chat) still shows you as “active now” but only with the green dot disappearing, so you are basically telling people “Hey, this person doesn’t want to chat with you”? Why does the video call button starts glowing when both you and the other person are opening the chat tab (so i might be reading an old message and the other person would think that i am stalking)? What about the profile picture bug? If someone (me or my friends) changes their Facebook profile picture, it won’t changes in messenger 99% of the times. Also when going to check pictures in an conversation, they might not load or load slowly. What about the “active 1 minute ago”? It appears always except if i turn the internet off in my device.
All those previous bugs, “features” and other lack of features make the app just horrible. Hope that you fix those bugs and remove those “features” and add other necessary ones.

I came to read the reviews because a friend told me about them. And he was completely correct! All you people leaving 1 Star and complaining about this app are 💯stupid and ridiculous. THIS IS A FREE APP JUST LIKE FACEBOOK IS FREE!! And you still come here to write a stupid review. Smh 🤦🏻♀️ Entitlement much?! Stop complaining! I think Facebook should start charging to use its apps including messenger! Erase Facebook and this one if you guys hate it so much. Both my Facebook and my messenger work excellent. And if they didn’t, too bad! You ever hear the saying, you get what you pay for? Well your not paying anything for either of these apps and look ignorant coming here to write reviews that are bitchy. You are choosing to download these FREE APPS! Let me say that again so I know you heard me. YOU CHOOSE TO DOWNLOAD THESE FREE APPS! So enjoy them. Facebook deserves more respect and gratitude than they receive. I think your doing a excellent job Facebook, connecting me to my friends and family from all over.
