2016 Medical Physics Research Summit

The Medical Physics Research Summit was held on February 20, 2016 at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. The summit focused on research activities within the Department of Radiation Oncology's Medical Physics Division, covering a wide spectrum of concentratrions from basic research to clinical applications. The focus of the retreat was to build stronger connections between researchers, clinical physicists, and trainees. With this event, we are able foster new collaborative research efforts between the Cancer Center, 1050/1070 Arastradero, Center for Clinical Sciences Research (CCSR), Physics Outreach, and Stanford Cancer Center South Bay. We covered the broad range of research activities occuring within our division, including clinical, translational, basic science, and engineering projects.

Thank you to all who attended, participated, and contributed to making this a wonderful event!
