Consisting of over 50 hospitalists in five different sections, at two different facilities, the Stanford Hospitalist program is a rapidly growing group of physicians, with a variety of academic interests, caring for inpatients throughout the Stanford Health Care system.

In addition to clinical care, our group has the privilege of educating medical students and residents throughout their journey, from the first day of medical school, to the last day of residency.

Our Hospital Medicine Division looks to grow itself in the areas of research and quality improvement, with over twenty papers published by our clinician-educators in 2016 alone.
