Every update makes this application worse. Few years ago I've got excited about the updates, they did a great job, but now they making big mistakes. Stealing other applications features and putting into the Facebook and the Messenger. What for? If I want to use the bloody Snapchat I'll download that on my phone. Huge dislike.

With the new update, I can't see any new notifications. I only see the notification if I catch it live (right when it pops up and notifies me outside of FB). But otherwise, I see that I have notifications, but I can't actually view them. Worst update ever.

Why can't I see any notifications now? It just shows me friends to add. Had over 50 notifications that I have no clue what they are!

It won't even come up when I tap it. I went to uninstall it and it won't uninstall. I'm left having to use the web browser version.

Yesterday, I had an "Explore" option on my feed. Today, I updated my app and its gone! The same thing happened with your "Memories" app. I had it for a few days, updated my app because it wouldn't work if I didn't, and suddenly it was gone. Another issuing I am constantly having is while scrolling through my feed I am always seeing posts from 2 days ago. It doesn't matter what day it is, for example, today is June 7th. My newsfeed is full of posts from June 5th. Tomorrow I will see posts from yesterday, Friday I will see posts from today. Even your "most recent" option gives me posts from a week ago. I wish I had another alternate but alas, this is the only Facebook app. Please fix.
Again. Issue still persists after another update. Unable to move app. Insufficient space. My internal space is at 75% and my SD Card has 50GB of free space. The app is only 330MB space. Keeps getting the error. Already tried uninstalling and re-installing the app. Still the same. Uninstalled this and the messenger until they fix it. So far, after 2 months, they have not tried to fix the issue.
How come my app doesnt update when everyone else's does? Im like 3 updates behind apparently. How do I fix this? Its been like this for a while. Help! Also, the app fails alot, and ive already cleared out all the cache and have done everything to ensure its not my phone... Edited to add: Not even an hour after i posted this, the app updated. I was logged in this morning and able to access everything. I had to uninstall the app on my phone and reinstall it because of storage and space issues. Now it is impossible for me to log in!!!! I am FURIOUS! I've had this account for 12 years and not had an issue. Because my account is so old, I have no way of accessing the original email address I used to opem it Now it is telling me it can't verify who I am!!! I keep on asking for security codes sent to SMS and have not received any codes!!! Help me!
Wouldn't be better not to have the home page full of posts from exactly 4 days ago? I mean why on Earth a developer would code the newsfeed with such a terrible rule? On top of ads, suggested posts, sponsored posts, useless posts of someone who liked a random group. This is awful... Do Facebook developers actually use Facebook? It definitely doesn't seem so...
Works totally independent to you fb on your pc, delete or hide post on here and then see them on your web based version....... Also you cannot unfollow anyone because you press it and yet you still see there post ect.... And also notifications don't work, it's showing you post from days and days ago instead of recent ones...... Do they actually test these updates first or just put them out and hope for the best they work.... Just avoid!!
Give me the update for the status backgrounds already!! Everybody on my friends list has them..BUT me! 🤔😥 Fix my news feed that constantly gives me Post's from 3 days ago before my most recent. It force closes all the time & quite frankly it's definitely not what it used to be. Dont get me wrong, it looks better, has better features & tools but hey it at least WORKED & UPDATED properly!! Fix it soon please. I love this app but I refuse to use it messed up like this.
Since the last update, every time I click on a picture, my phone freezes up and get the same error message, unfortunately Facebook has stopped! It happens all the time . I've uninstalled reinstalled Facebook, nothing works! Please fix this. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, never had issues like this before. Anybody else having this problem?
Update: They went back to the old way for viewing albums on the app! ... then another update ... can no longer see all the albums!.... According to the update though it's more reliable... why use the app when I have to use my internet too?? Original review: When looking for photo albums not all of them show up. It's VERY annoying! It worked fine when you had to go into group info, photos, and then albums.
I would love to see FB stop showing everyone's likes and comments on posts I am not involved in. I don't need to know every second of how someone else is spending their time on FB, nor do I want them to know everything I like or everything I say elsewhere on FB. I would also appreciate not having "people you may know" shoved down my throat by showing in the notifications list. Also it would be great if the news feed was in real time. I keep seeing the same posts over and over from days before. I don't want to have to go in and select most recent. It should always be most recent.
The app requires way more permissions than it actually needs. Additionally, it is ridiculous that every time I click to open a notification it opens an entirely new file instead of using the one that is already open. Kills your battery and eats up your available RAM. Also, it's insane how many sub version updates they need to release because they can't get things right the first time...
Gone backwards. Let us choose the default order. And not as screen overlayed on the order you want us to use. And now I can't see the notifications tab from the 'Most recent' screen. And now it ignores my 'open links externally' preference for some sites. Tapping on a friend's comment highlighted beneath a long thread doesn't take me to the comment. Refreshing the feed regularly gives a different order.
i cant get into my account. kept saying "sorry something went wrong and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can" on browser. and the app, I logged in and it said confirm your identity and clicked and it gave me white screen with signal thing saying connection lost. tap to retry. dont know whats going on. Temporarily unavailable access
(Updated) You can have your 5 stars now... Facebook is running alot smoother than it use to! It would be nice if my Facebook wouldn't shut down completely when I am trying to send a message or look for a certain friend in my friends list. And the only time my phone freezes is when I'm on Facebook. Fix this and you can have your 5 stars!

After trying everything else I uninstalled app and put it back on... working again How is everyone else putting flowers on people's posts where the icons are? Mine don't have the flower option :( When will we be able to fit full size pictures as profile photos? Without having to crop or find a frame to then fit picture in cos then pictures always not so clear just want to be able to put uncropped profile photos on like it did once before... So long ago I kinda miss quite a few old features
Keeps refreshing news feed in an out of control way. When tapping the back key it doesn't exit the app. Some of the notifications won't show up (e.g. if someone replied to my comment, no notifications appear). Notification count on the app icon sometimes is wrong. Requires a lot of updates which rarely come in handy. Takes a lot of phone's storage and RAM. Shows the wrong count of massages at the top right.
Why did you remove the option where stickers could be chosen according to their type? Moreover, friend requests are accessible in notifications tab instead of a seperate one, which is horrible! Textured backgrounds for status updates are gone! Most of the time new notifications does not show up even after refreshing. Bring back the old facebook instead of providing crappy updates everyday!
I do not like the new update! I liked the old way where when you search something or someone they just pop up. Now you have to type the name then click on the name and hope it's the right person because the pictures don't show anymore. The events page is weird and confusing. Live stream lags and freezes and the newsfeed needs to automatically load with the most current status, which mine doesn't. Please fix!!
Dear developers if you really read pls make fb lite image and video not gatting load at 1.5 mbps speed and every update make fb space larger after evry few days previous old version was good
Hangs and either kicks me to top posts or crashes completely. And you guys have the balls to pester me to use the app when I open my account using browser (with some small message on top that I must click x everytime or it won't leave). It seems the app gets worse with each update.
Nice app. Although I do kind've dislike the fact on how you have to put your actual face on here. (Yes I'm aware that it's called Facebook for a reason.) When last time, you could just upload a picture off of the interwebz. Overall, this app is really great for sharing social media!
Going to Twitter.? Use to like so much now not. Might give 5stars again if all is fixed, to many problems with FB!& messenger even more. Never receive my mess.nor can I finish typing! Some people like me don't like messenger so it's really S.. That I can't get my messages unless I have it. Plus unable to use my cute stickers even when I use messg. That Sucks!
This is now so annoying! Comments are not appearing on every posts, error message says "Error validating access token..." for every post! Notifications are impossible and newsfeed is always stuck! I've already tried to uninstall-reinstall the app but still no use. My connection is good, even if I use wi-fi or mobile data it doesn't matter, not working at all. WHAT IS HAPPENING?
I spend a lot of time on the FB app and for weeks now, every time I'm scrolling through comments on a post it pops up the "hide, report..." menu. The same one that pops up when you press and hold on a comment except I'm only scrolling. It's beyond frustrating and I've accidentally reported and hidden so many comments because of it. I keep waiting for one of the updates to fix it but nothing yet. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I'm on a Moto G4. Please please fix this FB!
I dont want to see posts from 4 days ago! I already saw them. I want to see newer posts! And when i click ot picture it doesnt load! It stops the whole app. It's frustrating that I am seeing OLD posts AND not be able to click on a picture!!!!
